Introduced Design Tokens to Material Design and all of Google by developing initial concepts, architecture and syntax, working closely with engineering.
My work on Google Play Instant Apps (originally Android Instant Apps) broke new ground with how users interact with Android apps. They have been deployed on over a billion active Android devices. A similar concept was later introduced on iOS as Apple App Clips.
Lead the User Experience work for the launch of the Google Store. Since it's launch the Google Store has become Google's flagship destination for all hardware sales.
When working in Google Brand Studio, I headed up a team creating the Google Marketing Web Standard (comprised of standard templates, component library and new Javascript library) as part of Google's Brand Guidelines and used by Google's marketing sites and content pages.

With the switch to Material Design all Google products introduced a new masthead. Brand Studio, Material Design and OneGoogle teams collaborated to put a brand system in place that ensures cohesive branding throughout.
I led a team collaborating closely across all teams involved, including Google's Naming team, to create a system and architecture that is currently being documented in Google's brand guidelines.
The success of the World Wonders Project, for which I led the design and development in 2012, led to the founding of Google Arts & Culture.
